The Teepee Traders is a motivated group of diverse artisans, some who are Native American and some not, that primarily reside within the Southwest region. The Teepee is a symbol of the home and heart, and for this Team, that is not only where we mainly operate our shops out of but the home and the heart are also some of our main priorities in life. We live and support a lifestyle that is in harmony with the environment through consumption of natural foods, herbal medicines, and organic gardening. Our creative expression encompasses many mediums including beading, clay, gourd art, fiber arts, and folk art just to name just a few. Our inspiration derives from our cultural and/or spiritual backgrounds and most poignantly from our connection to the natural land here in the Southwest. We also support different projects and causes and mainly try to trade amongst ourselves to support each other in business. For example, locally a group of beaders gathers once a week to trade beads, talk shop, trade techniques and patterns and inspire each other. This team also aids its members by sharing links and notifying each other of upcoming shows! We hope you will find this group inspiring and noteworthy! We look forward to seeing and working with you on this heart path.
“We do not discriminate against anyone based on their race or ethnicity since New Mexico the Southwest is known for its acceptance and blending of several nationalities, languages and cultures.”
Hi there – I’m a friend of Terri LaBrosse and Theresa Geary and would like to join the Teepee Traders. I’m in Wisconsin, am a gourd artist and founder of the Wisconsin Gourd Society. Terri LaBrosse and I already do a lot of trading and I’d love to be a part of this community!
Thanks,

Welcome Terri!
You and Tucson Terri will have to come up with names so we can all tell you apart. It is amazing that you and my sister in Illinois are going to be meeting in person. Every one of these traders has something great to offer – the inspiration alone is invaluable. Let us know if there is anything you NEED or want to trade for.
Theresa
